We have thrilling news to share - Friends of Historic Breckenridge (FOHB) has officially purchased the historic Dan's Studio building, now part of the National Theatre Complex!

What began as a practical purchase to support storage needs for theatre programming has quickly become something much bigger. In uncovering the building's hidden beauty, we realized its true potential: to preserve another piece of Breckenridge history while strengthening the cultural heart of our community.

The Dan's Studio Building is more than just brick and mortar – it's a new stage for opportunity. Together with the National Theatre, this expansion allows us to:

• Protect and showcase local history by preserving an architecturally significant landmark
• Expand programming capacity for theatre, arts, and community events.
• Foster civic pride by reimagining a beloved building as a living part of Breckenridge’s future.

This exciting chapter is only possible because of our dedicated supporters. Their passion for history and the arts ensures that treasures like the Dan's Studio Building are not only saved but transformed into vibrant community spaces.

Renovations already completed – and fully paid for – on our newest purchase include:

• Interior clean-out by the Walker Sayles Unit, requiring six roll-off containers at a cost of $4,410
• Additional facade renovations funded by a $10,000 matching grant from the EDC Main Street Project
